Maui Community College (MCC) Lahaina Education Center (LEC) and Rural Development Project (RDP) are happy to announce the arrival of new audio visual and computer equipment that will provide Hawai’i Interactive Television Service (HITS) courses by transmitting two-way interactive audio-video conferencing between UH campuses. • Private connection video
teleconferencing available in conference meeting room.
• Computer lab classroom and
computer system available for every presenter.
• SMART Board™ interactive
whiteboards available in every classroom.
• Elmo digital visual presenter
available in every class.
Funding for the new equipment and supplies totaling over $207,000 was provided 100% through federal grants from the U.S. Department of Labor, and
managed by the Maui RDP region personnel.
